Would you rely on Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is a fundamental element of western society and most of us grew up using this type of magical icon. Recently I came upon the concept that Santa represents a distinctive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is defined as an inherited memory represented inside the mind by a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
In searching for these particular symbolic images on this dear old man I discovered that which Santa Claus means may also be used to motivate us in creating for the new year. I see him as being a fun-loving guy that can bring us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all of our dreams and wishes become a reality. In this season we have been packed with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the fun being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, as well as the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I learn that santa picture in your house reflects several archetypes. He is visible within the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope and also to think that a greater day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith and also the trust that every is going to be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, is not from the exercise of power this is the motive, however the drive to bestow care on individuals who require it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He is about giving to others fulfilling their requirements. And the man will not request anything in exchange except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He seems to be an effective guy, settling on who turns into a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. Whenever we are excellent and when we think, Santa will ensure we receive everything we wish.
A significant aspect of Santa’s story is the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney from the touch of his nose along with his yearly trek world wide. And besides that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is literally miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and like to all, one child’s heart at any given time. Santa will be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to find new means of dealing, being and succeeding.
Since we are coming up with our dreams, our visions, and our selections for 2010, let’s all make sure you use our Santa Claus model in conjunction with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. As you may have chosen after which more clearly defined your choices in creating your 2010 Journey, make use of this strategy to shift your beliefs and allowing of that particular which you desire.
Sometimes just the subtle shift from viewing our images from a grown-up element of looking to force, worrying over and wondering how things can change, on the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. An integral part of the Art of Allowing is to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings permits us to available to the Infinite Likelihood of the Universe.
Then too, we can easily liken Santa’s management techniques to some universal manager. Is it possible to envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, in only one night? And all punctually and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe is capable of doing for people like us, when we change it to God/Source. In the book “Ask & It Can Be Given” one of several Proven Processes is catchusanta it onto the manager. Since we set our goals, it’s like delegating to a Universal Manager. And also as we step back, and permit the Universe set things into position, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not letting go of choices, we’re merely turning over every piece of information and creating our choices.
I urge you to pay attention to giving to your Universal Manager all the stuff you sense you want to do throughout this holiday week. You’ll discover it amazing that since we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve done this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by all the chores I feel I have to do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, and some just don’t seem so important. I’ve had times when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to accomplish some of the baking. I’ve learned to accept help and reply having a grateful “Yes!” This procedure is priceless in all elements of life, not just the holidays. Legislation of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that needs to happen to bring me my desires, Now.
